Abducted catholic priest dies in Terrorists’ Custody

The Parish Priest of a Catholic Church in Kaduna State, who was kidnapped by terrorists at his home in Chikun Local Area of the state two months ago, has reportedly died in captivity.
Mr Joseph Bako was the Reverend father of Saint Johns Catholic Church in Kudenda. He was kidnapped on  March 8.
Although the incident is yet to be confirmed by police, the Chancellor of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kaduna, Reverend Father Christian Okewu, disclosed this to newsmen on Wednesday night.
He explained that the Reverend Father was ill before his abduction but was not allowed to go with his drugs.
Reverend Father Bako was one of eight Catholic priests kidnapped by terrorists in Kaduna State alone, according to Chancellor of the Catholic Deanery of Kaduna Father Anthony Dodo.
