Warri South Local Government Council in Delta State has described the plan to confer Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) on the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III by President Buhari as an attestation to the greatness his reign would bring to the kingdom.
The Chairman of the Council, Dr. Michael Tidi, made this known in a goodwill message to felicitate with the Olu of Warri.
He said the seamless push by the king to attract all round positive development to Warri Kingdom was in line with the policy thrust of his administration.
“The Chairman, members of the Legislative Arm, Executive Council and staff of Warri South Local Government Council, Delta State, heartily celebrate His Imperial Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, The Olu of Warri, on the conferment of a fitting national honour of Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) on him by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.
“Your Majesty, we are enthralled by your seamless push to attract all – round positive development to Warri Kingdom, because it’s in tandem with the policy thrust of this administration.
“The conferment of this national honour on you attests to our believe that the royal splendour you are adding to our resolve to place Warri South in the global map, as an investor – friendly hub and by extension, the entire Warri Kingdom, is getting the required attention.
“May you continue to reign in God’s protection, wisdom, vision and knowledge,” the chairman stated.”
