Delta reinstates commitment to complete roads projects

The Director General Of Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency (DSCTDA) Hon. Joan Onyemaechi, has reinstated commitment of the State Government in the completion of road projects within Asaba capital territory in good time.

Onyemaechi gave the assurance while inspecting the road project at Prof. Lawrence Eduvie Avenue, in Oshimili South Local Government Area of the state.

Onyemaechi who expressed satisfaction on the prompt delivery of the road, added that the quality of the work done was commendable.

According to the DG, the contractor, apart from having the manpower and equipment to do the job, also had the will power to see the job to a logical and standard completion.

She explained that following the inspection of the road, in accordance with the general condition of contract, it was certified that the construction of Prof. Lawrence Eduvie Road project had been finally completed.

The DG commended the management of Neodede Enterprises for the timely completion of the road, adding that the road met all safety and quality standards.

She also noted that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa was seriously investing in road construction as part of efforts to make Delta great again, and to ensure that more communities were opened to boost economic activities and guarantee improved livelihood for Deltans.
