Delta speaker urges workers to vote labour friendly leaders

The Speaker of the Delta House of Assembly, Chief Sherriff Oborevwori has urged Nigeria workers to vote labour friendly leaders come 2023 in order to ensure that their interest was well protected.
Oborevwori in his good will message  to Nigeria workers as they mark the 2022 Workers Day, also urged them to ensure they all have their Permanent Voter Card (PVC) ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The speaker in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Dennis Otu, nade available to newsmen on Sunday in Asaba, commended Nigerian workers for their rare industry, ingenuity and resilience.
Oborevwori who is also the National Deputy Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, noted that the Nigerian workers have displayed uncommon resilience in times of adversity.
“I want to salute our workers across the country as  we celebrate another May Day. I deeply appreciate you all for your courage and I know that with collective will and sense of responsibility, as a team, we shall triumph.
”Nigerian  workers should remain dedicated despite the challenges facing our nation.
”Despite the ripple effect of the economy and challenges in various sectors, Nigerian workers have remained committed and industrious.”
Oborevwori who is one the governorship aspirant in the 2023 Gubernatorial race in the state, urged   workers to regularly update their skills in order to remain relevant and globally competitive.
” I wished Nigerian workers and others a happy workers’ day celebration, ” added.
