Heartwarming moment Nigeria wonderkid fulfilled his dream of playing alongside legendary Mikel Obi

It happened when the former Nigerian international Mikel Obi was at the famous Unilag sports complex for his Back2Base talent hunt programme which kicked off on Thursday, June 9.

The Nigerian ex-international and former Chelsea star, along with his partners, launched a three-day talent hunt programme in Lagos.

The project was launched in the player’s bid to give back to society in the area of discovering talents.

Mikel was spotted with a very talented young chap Khalid ‘magic leg’ as they passed the ball to each other.

After the event, Khalid took to Instagram to celebrate the moment he met with his ‘idol’ who won the Champions League with the English club Chelsea in 2012.

Khalid wrote: “Thanks for the love, support, honour and cash that you gave to me yesterday at Unilag campus field. Thanks @mikel_john_obi.”
