Two feared dead, others critically injured as PMS officials clash with rival transport unions in Ibadan

Two persons have been feared dead, while others sustained varies degree of injuries when members of an agency of government, Park Management System, (PMS) allegedly clashed with a faction of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) on Tuesday in Ibadan.
There was an alleged shooting between the two groups at Aliwo area in Ibadan North Local Government Area of the state.
Members of the PMS were said to have been returning from the commissioning of an Ultra Modern Motor parks by Gov. Seyi Makinde at Challenge area, Ibadan South East local government Aea of the state.
It was learnt that when they got to the scene of the incident, there were exchange of gunshots but there was nobody to confirm what passersby described as unprovocative attack.
Business and commercial activities were put on hold during the period that the shooting lasted.
However, the Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso could not be reached to confirm the incident as at the time of filing this report.
Also, a text message sent to his mobile line was not responded to.
