Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich announced plans to sell Chelsea in early March, and to make the sale juicy, the Russian billionaire promised to forgo the £1.6billion debt the club owes him.
Report now has it that Roman Abramovich is no longer interested in writing off the debt.
As per reports, Roman Abramovich is no longer interested has backtracked on writing off the £1.6billion debt, following the treatment from the UK government.
This has reportedly put a twist on the bid to sell Chelsea.
Reports have it that Chelsea may be expelled from the Premier League if the takeover isn’t completed at the end of the month.
Chelsea fans have however sided with Roman Abramovich, and want the Russian to get back his money.
