The Delta State Government has reiterated its commitment to hosting the best National Sports Festival in the country.
The Secretary to the State Government Chief Patrick Ukah, stated this while inspecting the facilities at the Stephen Keshi International Stadium and the hostel block at the St. Brigid’s axis on Wednesday in Asaba, the state capital, ahead the sports festival in November.
The SSG, who is also the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the festival, assured that the facilities for the competition would be of world class standard.
Ukah also stated that members of the various committees set up for the event were playing their part in ensuring that they delivered a world class festival, just as he commended them for their zeal and commitment to the task.
